Welcome to Secesh Meadows
Secesh Meadows is a rural community in Idaho County, ID located within the Payette National Forest. The meadow is approx. 35 miles northeast of McCall, Idaho and there is no electrical power or cell service to the community. The meadow is about one half mile wide and about five miles long at an elevation 5738 ft. Small historic communities of Burgdorf and Warren are located nearby.
The road to Secesh Meadows and surrounding communities is open from approx. Memorial Day to Halloween. Winter access is only by snowmobile.
Penstemon, Indian Paintbrush, Sego Lily, Cats Paws and Elephant Heads are just some of the beautiful flowers that grow in the meadow
The Secesh River head waters are formed from Lake Creek and Summit Creek. Secesh River is catch and release to protect the Chinook Salmon spawning beds.
Meadow total seasonal snow fall may vary from approx. 92″ to 164″ of snow.
